Thank You

The main feedback meeting was held on 14 September at my home in Pretoria. Thank you to all who could come, especially those who came from far like Thabiso and Malefa from Lesotho. I could only show 300 of the 3000 pictures I took, so if you would like to see any of the others I would be happy to show them to you. I'm planning to visit Cape Town before the end of the month and hope to give some feedback there too.

Thank you so much for all the prayers and support! May the Lord's revealed face be the blessing you find!

30/8 Day 40 Mnt Zion

We made an appointment with Pieter and Liesl to meet at Zion Gate in the old City of Jerusalem at 6am. To be there on time we had to start walking at 5:30 but for some reason I had set my alarm for 5:30 so when D found that I had overslept I only had time to put my clothes of the previous day on and run.

So with the dust of the highway still on me we met Pieter, Liesl, their baby Ania and Johanna, a German staff member of JHOPFAN. We went to the place outside Zion Gate near the Upper Room where the African stones were left in 2005 and we laid out a map of the two Northern Highways with the stones from the different countries on it. I then read the various scriptures the Lord had given since the start of the Highway and proclaimed that the highways of the North are claimed for the Kingdom of God. We then interceded on behalf of creation for the revelation of the sons of God in every nation along the way and presented the stones collected along the way to the Lord in a prophetic action saying that "creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed" (Rom 8:19-21). We also bought the message from the people at the end of the world to Zion that her salvation is coming (Isa 62:11). Then we took communion and put the stones with the
stones from Africa. We blew the shofar three times to say that it is done. The church bells then chimed 7.

From Mnt Zion Denise and I went to the Holy Sepulcer where we read Revelations with great joy. We returned to Susan's appartment where we had a relaxed lunch. At 4pm Mac McCoy from the USA whom I knew from my time in Jerusalem in 2004 came to see Susan. I shared with him about what I had done and about the next Highway in the West. He immediately suggested various conacts in the United States. I felt as if I was falling into the next Highway before the sunhad set on this one.

At around 5pm D and I went to Damaskus Gate where we read Revelations to the North as the sun set on the 40th day of the Northern Highway.

29/8 Day 39 Haifa – Jerusalem

D and I took it easy over breakfast and took a lot of time to testify of all the wonderfull things the Lord has done sofar. We finally left the house around noon to go to the shops for a map and some other things needed for the closing on Mnt Zion.

We found a place on the ridge o Mnt Carmel where we prayed over the north of Israel. We had a good view over the way the old Highway to Lebanon went allong the beach.

From Haifa we got the bus to Jerusalem and found our way to Susans apparment. She met us there and we went for dinner at an Italian restaurant. We had a beautiful evening of sharing again.

28/8 Day 38 Jordan – North Israel

I got up early to read revelations, shower and find my way to the Trustb Bus by 8:30. The bus went to the northern border crossing into Israel. I bought a ticket to Nazareth.

I was delighted to find the faith in my heart not to be angsious about the Israel border crossing. Previous experience told me that these crossings could involve up to 3 hours of interaction with security and immigration officers. One of the YWAMers I met in Jordan was also denied entry to Israel earlier this year without ny explanation.

But the Lord said it would be fine, and as he said, so He did. I went through the whole process in less than 5 minutes. I could bearly believe it. In the bus to Nazareth I felt the Lord's presence as the Lion of Judah.

I baught lunch in Nazareth and then I got the bus to Haifa where I met Denise. Together we went to the north western corner of Israel about 50 kilometers north of Haifa. There we prayed at grottos where the see and the land meet in thunder. I was so blessed to be able to tell the Gospel to Lebanon too, and I had the impression that there were hundreds of people peering through the fence trying to give me stones. It was as if the church and the land of Lebanon was saying: if taking the stones to Zion is what it will to take to see the revelation of the sons of God, then all of Lebanon wants to come. I felt like I could see Lebanon leaning over to Israel like a wave of land.

We had a few miracles on our way back to Haifa because we missed the last bus.

27/8 Day 37 Amman, Jordan

The bus dropped me at by the side of the road at the outskirts of Amman at about 2am. I was immediately found by Akader who could not speak a word of English. He took me to a hotel close by and negotiated the rates and within 30 minutes after I was dropped I was able to lock a door between me and the world.

At about 7am I woke up and found that though I was 3 stories up, and beside a very busy road, there were sheep grazing on an open piece of land outside the window. This made me feel that I must be some way outside the centre of town.

I sent the SMS to ask for payer that I might be able to meet believers in Jordan. I got 3 responces from friends who knew believers there. In less than an hour after I sent the SMS I had appointments with all three set up.

I met 2 believers of YWAM Jordan in the morning. They were able to confirm that the Lord has been sending many people from all over the world to pray in Jordan in the past year, and that they could see He was using Jordan as a gateway for the gosple in the Middle east. I submited the vision and they blessed me to take a stone.

After our meeting I went to YWAM's English school with one of them and I was able use the internet for a few hours untill they went home at 4pm.

I returned to my hotel and got the man in the garden to explain the address of the Hotel to the local leader who had agreed to meet me in the evening. He and his wife arrived held an hour later and I could submit the vision to them in my hotel room. It was amazing to heat this Arab son of Abraham's perspective on the role of stones as witnesses of the covenants God makes. He blessed the stones I took from Jordan and he confirmed the dersire of all creation for the sons of God to be revealed.

After they left I had dinner at another hotel and went to bed early, amazed at the amazing way this one day in Jordan had been filled with good things from God!

26/8 Day 36 Hatay – Syria – Jordan

Written at YWAM Amman

The night on the bus was very uncomfortable and when we got to Hatay (the old Antioch) at 7am I felt horrible. But I started reading Revelations as soon as I could find a quiet spot and it went ok.

Halfway through I was chased from my spot by a security guard and found another place in a grove of olive trees. I was surprised at the pain in my body, after the healing the evening before. My whole body now felt sensitive and sore.

I had about 5 hours to wait for my connecting bus to Amman and I took some time to go through all my things and make sure there is nothing that could indicate that my final destination was Israel. The Syrian border police have been known to throw people in prison for having a guidebook that featured Israel as one of the countries in them. As I did this fear started closing in around me and I went into the darkest night of the Soul so far on this journey. It felt as if everything rested heavy on me.

I went back into the bus station building and found a little internet spot where I sent the prayer request for faith, because my mind knew what God had promised but my heart could not get a hold of it and I thought I would die of fear. By the time I finished crying behind the computer and got up to leave I had enough of an appetite again to be able to eat something. And by the time I got down to the bus faith had dawned on me.

So, of course all went well at the border as the Lord had said. They did not ask me a single question and they did not even look at all my stuff. When this happens, when God comes through when I doubted Him I always feel so bad for doubting. But somehow I know that I had to walk though that little door of humbling myself and asking for prayer for the big giant of Syria to be conquered. My faith would not have been enough. I really needed you all to stand with me. Thank you so much that you did – all those SMSes I got felt like I was being hugged tightly and carried through a stream that would have swept me away if I was alone!

(Written in Jerusalem)
My bus from Hatay was a Saudi Arabian Bus and most of the passengers were going to Jeddah and Mecca. The girl in black who sat next to me could speak English. She was a young Saudi medical student from Mecca and she said her name means Dew. She and her family had been to Turkey to visit some friends there. I fell asleep on the way to the border showing me that the Lord had really restored my peace.

At the Syrian border the one bus driver collected all the passports of the Turks on board and took them all together for the stamps. Dew's father took their whole family's passports and I took my own. In the large immigrations building I filled out the little blue form and found my way to the window that said forreign passports. The fear was gone. The man behind the window only needed to know what town my passport was issued in and then I was stamped and in.

It was so easy I felt like a fool for stressing like I did at Hatay. But I realised that this was the answer to all the prayers and that I should not miss the miracle. I went back to the bus and waited with the other passengers for whatever it was we were waiting for. There between all the noisy trucks I put my cellphone against my ear again, greeted Syria and told it the gosple. I was reminded that the Lord told me that Syria is one of his favored pruning hooks, and that He holds it fermly in his hand! He loves Syria and He has many wonderfull plans for Syria. I had the experience that Syria as a land knows this and is resting in its Creators hands peacefully. As I stood there with the dead phone pretending to call it was as if I could hear the Syrian believers welcoming me and confirming that they are also waiting for the day of the Is 19 Highway.

Where we crossed the border the soil was very red and there were many Olive trees. About a hundred kilometers south of the border Syria looks like the Judean desert. All the trees seem to have a very hard time in a wind that blows them sideways all there lives. The sun had gone down by the time we reached Damascus. The bus did not stop at all and what I could see of the evening trafic from the window reminded me of east Jeruslem and the area around Damascus gate.

At the Jordan border I thanked Jordan for the way in which it opens the door for the northern Highway to come to Jerusalem via the east. I had the sence that Jordan was a gracious and happy host and that it was eagerly seeking peace.

25/8 Day 35 Istanbul – Hatay

Written at YWAM in Amman

I met Jeanne again at the same sidewalk tea place on the main street as we spent most of the morning chatting when Eugenie and I came through Istanbul in March. She brought the stones, and it was great just being able to catch up on what had happened since that day n March.

I then asked her the dubious favor of accompanying me to the bus station where we did the backwards and forwards thing a few times till we found the company that does the busses to Amman. There we heard that there was no bus for Tuesday and that I had a choice of taking the bus that afternoon or the next one on Wednesday. This was a bit of a shock, because I was geared for the day of rest on Istanbul, and leaving in 3 hours would take a sprint I was not quite prepared for. But we found a quiet place to pray and both felt that I could not wait another day, and that I had to take the bus tat afternoon.

So back to my hotel where I got the money I already paid for that evening's accommodation back, Praise the Lord. I finished packing soon enough that we could take time to eat lunch together (the best musaka I ever has) and pray a bit before I had to return to the bus station. As we sat with all the stones before us Jeanne prayed about Turkey being the place where all the highways have met for so long and where all from the north pass through on their way to Jerusalem. I really felt the power of God grabbing these different routes and tying them in His hand. He is really building His Highway and Turkey has a big role to play in it.

On the bus I sat next to a girl called Eshtar meaning Secret in Arabic. She was a Turkish Arab and was studying to be an English teacher, so we had long hours of discussions about everything we could think of.

Sometime during the evening the conversation dried up and the Lord started dealing with me regarding my inside. While I listened to Worship music I had visions of my body with different wounds and bruises I gathered along the way. He pointed them out and I saw how he was healing them by washing them with his blood. I then saw my white dress in the Spirit all dusty and tattered at the seams and he showed me how this got washed and fixed too.

24/8 Day 34 Istanbul

(Written at YWAM in Amman, Jordan 27/8)

After blogging in Thessaloniki I returned to the station where I did not wait long before I could board the Night train to Istanbul. The train was not full and I was alone in the little two bed compartment. As we rode through the sunset on rural Greece I had another of those moments of true gratitude as I was able to experience the fatness of the blessing I was walking in. (Unfortunately I am not always equally aware of this, but when I am suddenly able to see the bigger picture in gratitude it always opens the door on divine happiness).

Border crossing to Turkey came at about 5 am and after a bleary-eyed but smooth interaction with the border officials I blew the shofar by the locomotive. When I told the gospel to Turkey I was under the impression of the many different facets of this land starting with the fact that it straddled Europe and Asia. But also all its religious history came to mind. I felt that Istanbul and historic Constantinople was somehow like a bad growth in good tissue and that the soil wants to be healed of it. There was also a frustration with all the people who passed through here before who claimed to come in the Name of the Creator, but gave the earth blood to drink. Turkey was ready for the Son of God to be revealed. The King of kings and the Lord of Lords.

The train arrived about 2 hours late and in communicating this to Jeanne we discovered that we had misunderstood each other, and that she was only expecting me the following day, even though she somehow did make the hotel reservation for this day. All turned out fine though and I was able to make my way though old Istanbul past the only partly helpful tourist info office to find the quaint little hotel Jeanne's friend Errol had booked. Fetah, the young man at reception, could not find the booking though, and it took about two hours before Errol could swing by to remind them of the booking and then all was in order. In the meantime Fetah invited me to breakfast and I felt very at peace in the midst of all this confusion.

After washing my clothes and taking a shower I spent the rest of the day working through the inbox on the bulk-sms website. (My excuse for not running around Istanbul is that it must have 37 degrees outside with very high humidity and I just did not have the anointing to go anywhere in that). I copied all the responses to my smses that I never got at the time to the blog as addendums to my sms they were sent in answer of. It took me a long time but it was a real blessing to see how every-one at home had been standing with me all along.

Thinking I would blog in the evening I slept a few hours in the afternoon. When I woke up after 6pm I me flesh told me it had been pummeled: I could feel every muscle in my body. I did not feel like blogging so I stayed in bed until the Lord finally got me out of there with an invitation to walk in the cool of the evening with Him.

Trying to mark my way through the maze of little streets in order to find my hotel again, I went downhill in the direction of the sea. I found myself something to eat at a falafel place and when I came to the water-side I discovered that this is where all the Families in Istanbul hang-out on Sunday evenings in summer. It was pleasant walking there with the Lord. Its always good to hear his words of encouragement and hope. He is very kind.

On the way back through town I stopped at an internet-Café to ask it they could cut a dvd of the photo's on my camera. They thought they could and various angry and frustrated young men tried. While I waited the older woman behind the counter saw me looking longingly at her glass of water and asked with her eyes if I wanted some. On my affirmation she fetched me a little bottle of water for which I assumed I would have to pay. On the final verdict that they are not going to be successful with the DVD I asked how much for the water, and to her son's visible frustration she told me it was free. May she get her reward

23/8 Day 33: Greece - Athens to Thessaloniki

(Written at an internet cafe in Thessaloniki)

The general drama continued through the very very hot night and when I got up at 5 am all the booths and shops were still open and the traffic was just a little less. The hotel manager had told me the night before that if I had to be at the station at 9am I had better leave at 6. So at 6:15 I waited for the bus that would take me into town, and after some more adventure in this city without a propper core I found the station.

When I agreed to come on this trip with the Lord as my only companion I knew I was signed-up for a school in trust. Its day 33 and I'm still failing the tests.... After standing in a long line to get my seat reservation I was told there was no seats on the train left. I could travel, but I was given a standing place. Standing or sitting on the floor for 6 hours did not sound that great, but OK if thats what I have to do its OK.

So when the train came I got into the last truck where the 2nd class compartments are also some little fold out seats in the hall. I felt the Lord challenge to seek Him for better, so I got out and walked to the other end of the train where first class is. (My Eurail is firstclass, so if there was space that was where I would have been traveling. As I made my way allong the platform I spoke to every one I could find with a uniform. They all confered that I should get into first class and move when chased. The actual conductor even showed me to a seat. I was thankful but stressed - waiting for the person whose seat I was on to come and chase me. The Lord asked me to trust Him - I tried but I couldn't. Only after 3 hours did I start to see that there was really no-one that was going to chase me away. He had given me a nice seat and all He wanted was for me to rest in Him and enjoy it.

I sat on that seat the whole way! When we pray 'Lord make me better' we never know what the nature of the refining fire will be... who would think that relaxing about a firstclass seat could become the battlefield of the soul!

My Crocks have started scathing me blisters since I came to Italy. I think it must be the dry heat and dust combination, because they are not new and have never done this before. So when I put them on this morning I made my request known to the Lord - I need thin socks.

On arrival here in Thessaloniki I had a smooth-enough time to get my ticket on the night train to Istanbul. From there I came in search of an internet cafe and noticed that almost all the shops are closed. Then I reallised that its Saturday adternoon. But there was one foorwaer shop open and it had two pairs of thin socks for sale. So I bought a pair. The gentle shopkeeper made me sit on a chair when he realised that I was going to put them on right away, and he was so concerned about the blisters I almost cried.

This has been my experience of many of the people I came accross in Greece: we can not understand each other's languages, but there is a deep resonance and heart connection. With all there high drama and emotion and enigmatic transport systems they are very dear people with big hearts.

I'm going back to the station now to look for a place to read Revelations. Tomorrow I wake up in Turkey.

22/8 Day 32: Greece - Patras to Athens

(Written at an internet cafe in Tessaliniki)

I had as good as night on the deck as one could hope for - we were assigned airplane style seats on a large room and everyone found laces on the thick carpet. I had my sleeping bag and my surgical mask for the smoke from the lounge next door, and I slept fine. I did feel a bit vulnerable though and pinned all my valuables like my cards and passport to the inside of my pajama pants.

At about 6am I saw a pink light through the window and thought I'd better go see what the Creator was doing about dawn on the Aegeian See this day. So I packed up my bed and everything and went to sit on the deck to watch the sun make its way through a thick pink hase out of which little islands were appearing and disappearing as time whent by.

We landed in Patras at around 12am and I found a quiet place to blow the shofar and make the declarations in an derelict railway yard next to the ferry harbour. The only people around were a hunted looking group of about 20 young Albanian men who seemed to expecting the police to come for them any minute.

When I told the gosple to Greece I saw a whole group of little old Greek widdows dressed in black, comming to me bent-over with tearstained faces bringing stones. I felt the represented every little island (Greece has many) and that the were like the Joel 1 widdow crying for the husband of her youth.

It was very hot and after I bought my train ticket and knew I had an hour to wait I walked around one block in an attempt to find a tourist office or an internet cafe. When this did not proove successfull I sought refuge from the heat in the airconditioned station rather than a cafe where I would have to spend money.

I asked Ethie to make me a booking for Athens too, and the whole journey from the Patras to the Hotel in the South of Athens was riddled with challenges and godly outcomes: including an angel from Bungladesh who guided me through the Greek maze of public transport in Athens and many other helping hands allong the way. I arrived at the quaint littel hotel by the beach at arround 8pm, and rushed to get checked in so I could call George Tsafandakis in South Africa.

George is Anita's son in law and he is Greek. He was so kind to agree to stand in for the believers in Greece. So, while the sun was setting I stood a the telephone booth and submitted the vision to him, after which he prayed with me. In prayeing for the Sons of God to be revealed in Greece he saw a vision of a person in a while robe standing in a place like a court room. He felt that this had to do with the way the Greeks pride themselves in their ability to reason, and that the Lord wanted to touch the judicial and governmental areas of Greek society by revealing His Son there in various ways.

After speaking to George I called Renata, an old colleague and friend of mine that I used to work with in Jerusalem. She is Swiss and aggreed to stand in for the church in Switzerland. It was good to speak to her because we share allot in our frame of reference and it did not take any time at all to explain what I was doing and get her permission and blessing.

By now it was quite dark, and I found a mini-market for some dinner which I ate on the hotel's balcony overlooking the street below. There I saw various dramas including a woman laying down infront of a bus and the bus just passing her, and all the other 50 cars including a police car just passing her, until finally two men went and picked her up and got paramdecs to look at her.

21/8 Day 31: Rome - Bari

(Written on ferry to Patras, Greece)

After blogging what Anita prayed I cleared the room and almost forgot my hat. I have never worn it on the whole journey yet, and somehow I have not managed to loose it either. It went in the top of my little backpack. I took some pictures of the hotel and got directions from the owner on how to buy bus tikets and where to wait for a bus that would take me to the Vatican. He told me to take nr 18, so when nr 180 came allong I thought I heard wrong and took it. 180 only went half way. This caused some adventure in the middle and added to my sence of urgency to get there.

When I spoke to Anita I started feeling like a little boat tossed on a very big see. You know that feeling you have on a swing when it had reached its zenith and is just in the processs of accelerating downwards - your stomack gets lifted into a different place in your body and the adrenalin shoots all around. Anita did not cause it, it just started when she mentioned then. At first I thought it must have been the very strong coffee that the kind cleaner had offered me. But it continued long after the coffee should have been out of my blood.

The bus wriggled its way through narrow streets past most of the tourist attractions marked on the map I got at the hotel. I saw the colloseum and various other ruins and spectacular newer buildings. It was the first time for me in Rome, and I don't know what I expected but I was supprised to find it so homely. Its like the styles you see in other great cities like Paris and London but it somehow has a home-made feel about it. I guess its because this is the place where many of te styles were born and the other cities copied it with more planning and more advanced tecnique.

My train was booked for 13:38 so my time was short and the bus seemed to take forever. When I finally rushed to the huge dome of the St Peter's cathedral an oldfashioned street clock told me it was 11:05. We joke about prophetic people interpreting everything they see as something significant, but arriving at the Vatigan at the 11th hour to remind it of the words of Revelations was too strong a picture to miss.

As I approached I felt the tention build up inside me. It was something like a bit of butterflies before a performance. Like when you wait behind the curtain for your moment in the spotlight. And was the square before the cathedral and impressive backdrop! With all the colomns and the petrified saints on top and the massive domed roof of the church with the impressive facade. I had a kind of larger than life experience walking up to the church. I felt like a javelin thrown with great force and accuracy.

But back in the physical realm it was very hot in the sun. I found a place at the feet of the stairs to the main entrance right before the door where the pope comes out to make his speeches, put my hat on and I read as fast as I could.

The reading went very smooth. When I was done all the awe of the environment was gone and I felt almost at home. But I had to hurry for a bus that would miander its long way to the station, and then I had to find some nourishment - I had fasted in the morning.

I was ancious and the Lord told me off about it, and proved himself faithfull once more. And even thought the train was a bit delayed I was in time for the ferry and they had place for me and all was ok.

So now I'm going to sleep on the deck somewhere and see Greece on the morrow.

The Lord is So Faithful!

21/8 Day 31: Rome (early note)

Had a good night of washing clothes and resting. Jopie, my brother sent me Joel 1: 5-15 with the focus on verse 8 feeling that Jesus wants His bride in Italy to return to Him. I’ll proclaim it when I get to the Vatican today.

I got up early this morning to blog yesterday and got and SMS from Elsa, my pastor with 2 Kor 12:9. She also wrote that His grace is enough for me, and in my weakness He is strong.

I then called Anita Giovannoni. She has been one of my most important teachers in South Africa regarding the prophetic. She is married to an Italian man and she has been to Italy a month ago to minister. She agreed to stand in for the believers in Italy and gave me permission in the natural to take the stones, although she recognized that I have permission in the spirit already.

While she prayed for me she was reminded of St Francis of Assisi and all the martyrs who gave their lives for the Gospel in Italy. She asked for open heavens in the spirit, she asked that the stone would call to God for revival in Italy. She came against the religious spirit and asked that God would bring people out of religion into a relationship with Him. That He would use the communicating and family loving ways of the Italian people to spread the word about Him and the testimony of new life in Christ.

She also prayed for me for divine safety provision and appointments - that I would bump into believers on my way. She saw the Vatican, and witnessed when I said I’ll be going there now to read Revelations.

After the great encouragement of speaking to her I am now going to the Vatican. This afternoon I take the train to Bari on the South East coast from where I hope to catch the ferry to Greece. Please pray that I catch it.

20/8 Day 30: Austria – Switzerland – Italy

(Written in the hotel in Rome 7 am 21/8)

Austria

I had a liegeplatz in a liegewagen on the night train from Graz. We were four people in our tiny 6 bed compartment and it was very very hot when we departed. Since there is no place to sit we had to go to bed right away, and my bed being right at the top meant that I was the hottest of all. I realized that I did not read Revelations to Austria yet, but decided to ask Austria to listen when I read it to Switzerland and tried to sleep.

About and hour of steaming later I realized that there I was wrong. I got up and stood in the hallway and read Revelations from around 11pm until 1am. It was an easy, happy and very victorious reading. Someone must have been doing allot of good work in the spirit over this nation for this to be so. I was later reminded of Gerda Leithgob, a South African prayer leader that I have worked with before. She is married to an Austrian man, Hans, and they have been diligently praying for the German speaking countries.

When I got back in the compartment it had cooled down and I had a good night from there. When I woke up we were still in Austria, but the houses had changed to the typical style of the alps. By taking the night train I was told I had missed some awesome views as the train along the south of Austria goes through very scenic areas.

My mother sent me an SMS with scripture for Austria: Ps 66, Isa 41:17-18, Eph 11. I proclaimed the psalm aloud and praised the Lord for the beautiful things he is doing in Austria.

Switzerland

No one was sure where the border to Switzerland was, and we found out by looking at the cars’ number plates. At a station that must have been one of the first in Switzerland one of the train’s wheels caught fire when we braked. They had to let the fire brigade come and all and in the great excitement I could not find a quiet place for the shofar thing. However, the Lord seemed to want it done there because the minute after I finally did it in the WC cubicle the train departed again.

I left the telling of the Gospel until we arrived in Zurich. There I had to scuttle to make my reservations for the trains to and in Italy and after that I was hoping to find an internet café to make an accommodation reservation for the evening in Rome. The man at the ticket counter did not get my request right and booked me on a train an hour earlier that I was planning on. I only discovered the mistake on leaving the ticket office - the implication was that I only had half an hour to do everything. I rushed to look for the internet café, and as I went down into the underground mall I started telling the gospel to the earth by greeting Switzerland in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I burst out in tears immediately and realised I had better give up the internet bit and focus on the prayer.

I felt like I was standing in an old strong fortress of His Name. It was as if I could see the impact of the testimony of the Lord that Switzerland has maintained in the world for so long. At first my tears were not sad they were WOW tears. But then they became sad when I also saw the way in which we have defiled Switzerland. Old Babylon has used what was good in God to set up one of her deepest roots here. The only actual manifestation I could think of was the banking system but I’m sure there must be other things too.

But I felt that Switzerland is ready to receive whatever it will take to uproot Babylon. I asked if this place is ready for the sons of God to be revealed, if all the beautiful mountains and valleys are prepared to be levelled for the glory of God to be seen. I got a clear answer: ‘This has been our hope of glory, this is what the testimony of Jesus is about. This is what we hold to. Take the stone!’

It was the hardest to find a stone in this clean paved environment. Even the trees seemed to be paved up to their necks. By the time I found a stone it was time to board again.

The track from Zurich to Lugano goes through some of the most spectacular scenes I have passed through. I read Revelations to Switzerland but this proved to be very hard. I had the hardest time to stay awake, especially when we went through the long tunnels through the roots of the mountains. But I plodded through catching my attention whenever it wanders and running after my thoughts when they try to sneak away. It was as if Babylon did not want to hear her bit and was trying to smother me. When I finished reading I allowed myself to sleep a bit and woke up almost choking with a cough a few minutes later. All along this journey I have found that I tend to be worse off spiritually after naps, but this was the first physical attack.

So even here in Helvetica there are the two voices. The one who looks forward to the Kingdom and the proud and conceited one who is trying to delay His coming.

Italy

I made sure I find out where the border is this time and got out at the first station after the border. It was only a very short stop so I greeted Italy, told it to pay attention to the announcement I will be making from the train and took a stone. In the WC again I blew the shofar and made the declarations, but I waited till I could put my feet on the ground again in Milan before I told the Gospel. I somehow felt a real need to get in the spirit before I get to Milan so I worshiped and prayed in tongues from the border to Milan.

In Milan I had 30 minuets to make the train change and I struggled a bit to find my platform. Then I went to get myself some water and veggies (its amazing to see how clear my body is on what it needs these days). Back on the very busy platform I took my dead-battery cell-phone and put it against my head – asking the earth to forgive me if I look fake, I just don’t want to tempt the people around me into judging me to be crazy – and told the gospel in Afrikaans. When I said that Jesus is the only way to the Father I felt shivers running down my spine like when something breaks after a long wait. It felt like a lie was broken. The earth knows its creator, but the sons of God here have been a bit confused and their confusion has spilled over on the ground.

When I asked if I could take a stone, if Italy was in on the petition for the sons of God to be revealed, I heard a very urgent and irritated YES! I felt that Italy had been holding back the impulse to shake off the snake that has been crawling up its leg with great violence in utter disgust. Like in Switzerland there wasn’t really stones on the platform, but just as I heard the ‘Yes’ I noticed a broken tile where I did find one.

The 4 hours to Rome was more restful and I enjoyed the slowly changing Italian countryside. There was an electricity plug at my seat so I could charge my phone. As soon as it was resuscitated I smsed Ethie, my sister, to help me make an accommodation booking – which she promptly did. I did not have a clean thread in my bag and I did not feel like another confrontation with the youth of today in a crowded hostel, so she helped me find a room to myself in a kind of youth hotel. Very nice.

I also SMSed Gerga Leitgob re standing in for the Austrian church, Anita Giovannoni re standing in for the church in Italy and my Swiss friend from the time on the Mount of Olives re standing in for Switzerland. I’ll call them all from Rome.

Briefly about my programme

(Written at an internet Café in Graz, Austria 19/8)

I'm going to Zurich by night train. Tomorrow I'll be there for a few hours and I don't have a plan for finding a believer appart from waiting on the Lord. Later tomorrow I go to Rome. I should sleep there tomorrow night. The day after I go to Bari from where I get the ferry to Greece. From tomorrow I'm back on the schedule I finalised on 28/7 - see blog.

19/8 Day 29: Budapest – Graz,Austria

(Written at an internet Café in Graz, Austria 19/8)

After stormy dreams I woke up disoriented with the song about crying to God at the dawning of the morning in my head. I lost my towel on the flight from Egypt to Copenhagen right at the beginning of the journey but only had to struggle with paper towels once so far – on the ferry to Scotland. My plan in this hosle was to take my bedsheet. When I got to the shower I discovered that this was a good thing anyway because there were no shower curtains in a unisex bathroom. So I used the sheet for a curtain too. Praising God that no-one else came in while I was in there I ate some of the meusley I took from Oriana’s table and left the room with Max still sleeping. On my way out I passes a young man that lay on the hall foor passed out.

I could at least take some pictures of Buda and Pest as I crossed back to Pest where I had to meet Marie from YWAM Hungary close to the station from where I would depart at 10:10am. She is an American missionary who has been working in Hungary for 11 years. We found a place in Burger King and I shared my story. She agreed to give me a stone although she felt somehow there should have been a Hungarian present. All I know is that the Lord knows what He is doing, and that if she is the one who is there then she is the right one. We also shared about some of the wider things God has been showing about His church in Hungary, and about the special calling on the people here.

An hour wasn’t really enough to go very deep. We prayed together and on the way to the station she found me two stones. In my heart I really desired to encourage the church here somehow , but I somehow felt that the communication channels between me and the church is not really open, and my feeling is that the Lord was preventing me from coming in a place where I pick up a burden that is not mine to carry now.

In the train I got an SMS from my mother who got Hos 6, Ps 125, Jer 38:20-22, 1 Tim 6:11-16 and Deut 2:6-7 for Hungary. She felt that they are in a bad place, but the breakthrough is at the door. I suddenly started crying and crying. I couldn’t get Max and his friend on the floor and all the broken sadness out of my mind. As the train made its way over the green plains of South-West Hungary I felt that its true: it’s the darkest just before dawn. Please, please, please pray for Hungary.

The train made the seemless border crossing into Austria and I could feel the difference in the Spirit before I saw the difference in the landscape. It was amazing: I felt as if I had taken off a very heavy backpack and that I was suddenly really light on my feet. I sat back and enjoyed the music again for what seemed to be the first time in days. I could see the beauty of the light of the sun on the trees and I suddenly just enjoyed the ride! That dullness was gone and I was awake again.

Outside the Austrian landscape became more hilly and the postcard towns started lining up allong the track. I briefly got out at one of the first Austrian towns to greet and say I’ll make the announcement in Graz.

In Graz the station greeted me with modern bright shops and a very big internet café! I got lunch and went to a quiet place outside. Outside the picture was a bit different with drunk homeless and crazy people in the park, the sex shop and so on. I first did the shofar thing outside the sex shop and when I wanted to tell the gosple I first had to cry again about what we are doing to the earth. The earth is also crying and the earth is ready.

I was bargaining on seeing a friend of Wolfgang here, but when I called him yesterday he told me he is out of town. So I asked the Lord that He would send His child here to me. I asked Him for Internet, and I have been sitting here for almost 4 hours now. Now son of God yet and my train is leaving in 40 minutes. I’ll have to report on what happened next time.

18/8 Day 28: Part 3 – Budapest

(Written at an internet Café in Graz, Austria 19/8)

The train arrived in Budapest at about 9:30pm. The station is a sad place that time of the night. I got money from the wall and praised God that the tourist info was still open. They could tell me how to get to the hostel I booked from Karol’s computer. By the time I got to the hostel I felt assulted by a spirit of immorality. While I could feel the strength of my ‘Grace bubble’ and the attack can’t actually reach me I was still vividly aware of something in the spirit of the city that cries like a sexually abused child.

The hostle I booked is a University dorm that they use as youth hostel in the summer. It only has two-bed rooms, and assuming they would separate genders I booked to share. It is huge and it was full of young people from all over the world who had just come from a weeklong rock fertival somewhere in the country side.

After a long struggle to get checked in I discouvered that my room mate was one of the party of 3 young French men who had been standing in the line before me. If I had not been so tired I might have tried to do something about my lot, but by now I heard that all the hostels in town are full and somehow I had peace deep down.

In brief Max is an attractive 6foot tall blond swimmer who studies physics in Paris. He was also tired and not planning to go out again so we set about getting ready for bed with all the challenges to decency that held for me – he didn’t care in true french fashion.

We slept head to head with a little chest of drawers between us. While he read a bit I lay there talking to God about this situation and before long I had to ask him if he believes in God. He said, no, he is an athiest. Then I had to get up and pray for him. So I explained briefly that I’m on a mission and that I believe that nothing happens without a reason. And I asked if I could pray for me.

He was amazed (who wouldn’t be in such random conditions) and agreed. So I sat on the floor next to his bed and took his hands and prayed something about love. I felt the power go through my hands. He said thankyou and I went back to bed and told him the greet God from me when he meets Him. Please pray for Max. I know the Lord loves him so much and He wants him for His Kingdom.

18/8 Day 28: Part 2 – Train Poland – Slovakia – Hungary.

(Written at an internet Café in Graz, Austria 19/8)

The south of Poland is hilly and wooded and as you come into Slovakia the scenes become more open with fields and far rolling hills. It was late afternoon when I discovered that we were already in Slovakia. So at the next stop I did the shofar thing and told the gosple. The icecap preassure theme continued, but the earth continues to say ‘yes’.

It was here that I started feeling numb, asif I can’t hear so clearly. I knew the Lord is close and I had peace, but I just felt dull.

It was dusk when we crossed into Hungary. I did not realise that the stop we were at was the border and only discovered later. So I sat there in my second class seat in the full wagon wondering what to do because I felt I should do the Shofar thing on the train and read Revelations before we get to Budapest.

Suddenly I remembered that my pass is valid in Hungary too so I could go and sit in 1st class. Here I could have a whole compartment to myself and I really felt the lord took care of me. I Blew the shofar and made the declarations and then I read all of Revelations before we came to Budapest. It wasn't easy but it was possible.

18/8 Day 28: Part 1 - Poland

(Written at an internet Café in Graz, Austria 19/8)

Kracow
Oriana and Wolfgang have many Polish friends and aquintances and they somehow connected me with the Stojowscy family in Krakow. Originally I would have stayed over with them, but when I realised that Jola only had the evening to spend time with me I made a breakfast date with the Stojowscys.

So after Jola packed me a fenominal snack-pack we went to the bus station from where she had to leave and waited there for Karol Stojowsky to collect me. Everything went very smooth and soon I found myself trying to explain myself to a very polite and interested listener as Karol drove to his home with me.

Karol is the only one in the family who speaks some languages I also speak. Because we where introduced from the German side we started off speaking German, but soon realised that we are both more comfortable in English. His parents speak some French, but my Frensh is not good enough to maintain any sort of easy conversation.

While I was staying with the Stock family in 1991 their one friend married a polish man and I came with them to the wedding in Kracow to look after the children. Oriana and I stayed with the Stojowscy family then, and Mrs Stojowsky, Magdalena, could still remember me since then!

On arrival in their appartment Karol and I found his parents nailed to the TV screen. It was the final momnets of the olimpics vollyball game between Poland and Russia. We waited a little for the end of the game (which Poland won) and then we had breakfast. Karol could explain to his parents what he understood sofar from what I told him. And they could ask questions.

They are a devoted catholic family and I realised that some of the things I was saying was somehow strange to them (although, coming to think of it, its somehow strange to many non-catholics too). But I could feel a connection in the spirit, and they agreed to give me a stone from Magdalena’s collection of beach stones she collected on the North Coast of Poland. Krysztof, the father, looked into my eyes and said that he felt this what I was doing was very importand.

At 9am Krysztof had to go to work and Magdalena also started to get ready to go out. So I was left in the gentle care of Karol. I never asked him how old he is or what he does or anything. I assume he is a student, not older than 25. But he speaks a fluent English, German and French and who knows what els and he has cycled arounf the southern end of South America.

But from the moment I met him I felt like a punctured damwall. The hunger for God in him made me want to download my whole spiritual and mental database in the hour or so we had before he had to go for an appointment and I had to start reading Revelations. I felt the Lord said He had brought me to one of His most special treasures in Kracow. As I was looking at the light of the passionfire of the Spirit of God hanging over Karol like a cloud I felt that he was like an ignitable fuel that will ignite any second now. God is very exsited about the youth in Poland and there is much hope.

When he went for his appointment I could close the door of a bedroom in their appartment behind me and give Revelations a good bash. Time was a little short so I had to read as fast as possible. Being so close to Auswich gave the whole reading a different light. I was aware that there are huge bad things going on in the heavenlies around me, and the words were addressing them, but somehow I was not involved in the proses. I was just the voice, like the breath in the throught of a very powerfull Worrior. The breath does not have to concern itself with the effect of the soundwaves it produces… Even so, by Rev 22 my whole body was engaged by the Spirit, and everything in me, and in the earth around me witnessed with the cry: Amen, come Lord Jesus.

Karol came back to take me to the station, and there was a quick 10 minutes for me to check my emails and see if someone in Hungary replied. The only email there was an offer from a youth hostel in Budapest in response to my enquiry the previous evening. So I confirmed a booking with them. In packing all my bits I saw the communion elements that the believers in Wales gave me and urged me to take every day. I knew I had to take some right away and I could feel the medicine restoring whatever spiritual strength was taken during the Rev reading. Poor Karol was a bit shocked about this, and it took me most of the walk to the station to try and explain how I can just do that with no priest involved.

On the station I prayed for Karol and it felt like I was greeting an old dear friend when I got on the train. I really felt that by showing him to me God was showing me a picture of His hope for the youth of Poland.

17/8 Day 27: Berlin – Poland

I blogged and emailed till late last night and had 3 hours of sleep before I had to get ready to leave. Wolfgang and Oriana made a beautiful breakfast and Oriana found a stone for the collection before they took me to the station. I was honoured that both of them came with me to the platform and they waited to wave me goodbye when the train departed.

By comparison to the rain of yesterday it was a beautiful bright day, and everything seemed so happy and green. I made an uneventful change-over in Berlin and then I settled into the compartment that became my little cocoon for the next 12 hours.

The only other person in the compartment was a Mr Tupper from Sussex in England. He is a retired tax collector with a great passion for trains and he was on day 2 of a 5 day tour of European trains. We had the most interesting conversation the whole time until he left the train somewhere before one. What really amazed me about him was the diligence with which he noted down all the serial numbers of the locomotives we passed along the way. He could tell me the pedigree of each one. If he could he took pictures. He said he has more than 80000 pictures of trains at home, collected throughout his life. Stories from his professional history as tax collector included how he had been on the hit-list of the IRA as well as the Italian Mafia because of the efficiency he brought to the tax-collecting systems in their areas… I really enjoyed our conversations and the morning flew. It was he who brought to my attention the fact that Auswitch is close to Krakow.

When he got off the train I keeled over and had a beautiful nap. I woke up to an announcement in polish about what sounded like five minutes. The train was standing in a station and I realised this must be my opportunity to do the shofar thing and tell the gospel to the earth of Poland. It wasn’t hard to find a quiet place at the end of the platform and when I told the gospel I felt that Poland is groaning as under great pressure. It felt as if the layers of curses were becoming deeper as I was travelling deeper into the continent – almost like the icecap on Greenland. But I felt a confirmation that also Poland is waiting for the sons of God to be revealed, and I took a stone.

I spent the rest of the afternoon peacefully listening to teachings or music and working on my embroidery and taking some more naps. The Polish country side is so beautifully green and lush. Again the track passed through many harvested fields under spectacular clouds.

The train was an hour late and it was almost 9pm when I finally arrived in Krakow. Jola, Ewa’s friend whom I had met in Jerusalem in 2004 waited for me at the station. It was great to see her again. She took me to the famous square in Krakow for dinner and I was impressed to see the renovations visible since I had been here last in 1991. In beauty this square surpasses many of the great tourist places of western Europe.

After dinner we came to her home and I am about to go and fall on that little sleeper couch over there. Tomorrow I’ll visit Oriana’s polish friend’s family and join them for breakfast at 8am. My train to Budapest only leaves at 12:10 so I hope to find out where the Lord wants me to read Revelations before then.

16/8 Day 26: Berlin

In 1991 I was an aupair of sorts for Wolfgang and Oriana Stock. Since then their home has been my home away from home in Europe. For this reason I planned to be here a day longer than in most of the other places: I knew I would be able to catch up on some admin here.

So I spent most of the morning phoning, smsing, blogging and emailing and trying to work out my train rout from here.

I was quite emotional at times, especially when I tried to call my mother, and I realised that my soul is taking strain. The pain of self-pity was sometimes like a knife sticking in my back. For the first time in my life though, I managed to jump into the blood of Jesus when this happened. I could see him with me and feel how the pain flows through me and into Him. It was very intimate, even though it only lasted a second. I felt I understood a little of that ‘becoming one with Him in His suffering’.

After lunch I set out in the drizzle to one of the main train stations in the city to make my bookings and buy my tickets from here to Switzerland via Poland, Slovakia, Hungary and Austria. My German impressed me as I explained all of this to the kind lady at the counter. When she was done she sat back and said that is one of the craziest bookings she had ever done. I wished I could share the bigger picture with her…

It was still raining when I left the station to go to the Pergamonium. This is the museum where they have many artefacts of old Babylon as well as the temple that Jesus refers to as Satan’s seat in the letter to the church in Pergamon in Revelations. I had felt for a long time that I should read revelations to Germany at that place.

The Lord provided great protection in the spirit as well as in the physical: in the side of the square around which the museum is built I found a little archway under scaffolding where I could sit out of the rain and out of sight, but still in the middle of it all and read for two hours. It went quite smooth and when I was done it had stopped raining and the red sunset was painting all the grand old building red around me. As I was walking around photographing all this, Eva my Polish friend, informed me that Jola, a friend of hers that I met a few times in Jerusalem, is living in Krakow, where I was planning to visit Oriana’s friend’s family. So now I have two invitations for tomorrow night in Poland – God is amazing.

Back at the Stocks we all enjoyed supper. They went to bed and I came to blog!

Communicating with me...

SMS
In the first place, if you have been sending me SMSs to the bulksms nr I want to thank you and say I’m sorry I never got them till now. I have been feeling quite lonely and wondering why I get so little input from your side and today I discovered the little inbox button on the bulksms website and found more than 100 SMSs waiting there for me.

How it works is that I send the SMSes from a website. Sometimes when I’m not at a computer I send the SMS to Nelia who then sends it out from the website. If you reply to the number I sent from the message sits in the website like an email. I have very limited access to computers allong this way. That is why I asked in the first sms I sent that all replies would go to my normal SA cell nr which I have on roaming with me: +27825298668.

I really value your prayers and especially your spiritual input allong the way. Please in future sms me on my own number.

BLOG
When I am at a computer I do read the comments people write to the blog. Thank you for those who have done this. I want to encourage you to write whatever you feel about the things I write. I sometimes feel so 'out there’ and I would actually appreciate correction.

EMAIL
I get all emails sent to jansiefourie@yahoo.com and I appreciate them even though I don’t always have time to answer in detail.

15/8 Day 25: Netherlands – Germany

After the late night I overslept a little in the wonderful peace of their house. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast together after which Shannon’s father took her, Wenzel and me to the Utrecht station. There we rushed around a bit looking for my train. When we found the platform we had a last prayer together and quickly took communion before I we greeted.

I had to climb over twice in Holland before I was on the train that would take me to Berlin. On this train the timetable had an advertisement on that started-off looking like a poem about time, but turned out to be a warning that the end of time is at hand and every one has to make right with God through the blood of Jesus. There was a contact nr where you can call to get a New Testament sent to you. The ad also said they are not asking for money, they are not a sect and you don’t have to worry they will not call or visit you. They will just send you the New Testament. I felt this warning on the timetable about time being short was very significant.

The train stopped for about 10 minutes for a locomotive change at Bad Bentheim, the first town after we crossed the German border. The conductor told us all that this would be a good time to get out and smoke. So I got out and did the shofar thing for Germany at the far end of the platform. I did feel some intimidation in the spirit but I could blow very clearly. I immediately read the Is 42 bit about the voice in the desert also. And I told Germany that the time is short as intro to the Gospel.

I looked around and saw great things moving around me in the spirit, but they were not aware of me. I was completely invisible to the spirit realm.

I felt the earth in Germany responding that it is the same as the rest of the places on the continent. And yes, the word of God is true, also the earth here is waiting in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.

The rest of the journey to Berlin was uneventful and I allowed myself some naps. This may have been a mistake because I woke up feeling more fragile in the spirit than before.

On arrival in Berlin I heard that the friends I would stay with in the evening were still on their way from another town and their friend Gitty who was at their home would direct me to their house. With her help over the phone I had to find my way through three changeovers to where my friends live in the South East of Berlin. The last little section I had to walk in the drizzling rain, and I found Gitty waiting for me at the gate.

We shared for hours over coffee until Wolfgang and Oriana arrived. Over dinner I told them the story too. They were very open and helpful and agreed to not only give me a stone, but also help me with connections in Poland and Austria.

We went to bed late but happy.

14/8 Day 24: France – Belgium – Netherlands

France and Eurasia
After a good but short night on the ferry from Plymouth we arrived at Roscoff at 7 in the morning. The taxi dropped me at the Roscoff station and the driver told me that the first bus connection from there to a town where you can catch the TGV to Paris leaves at 8:30. So I had a good hour of prayer at the deserted little station in the beautiful dawn.

It was the first time I set my feet on mainland Europe since I left Greenland so I addressed mainland Europe along with France when I blew the shofar and told the Gospel. After I told the gospel it started raining very lightly on me out of the blue sky, like something ceremonial.

When I told about the petition going to Jerusalem and that the Islands have agreed for me to take their stones I started sensing that I’m on a much larger thing – not an island. What happens here reverberates all the way to China. It felt as if I’m at one of the big cornerstones of the earth. France can’t respond without consulting the larger body.

So I addressed Eurasia and read all the scriptures the Lord has given me so far:
For God so loved the world...
I am the way the truth and the life...
There shall be a highway...
Light to the ends of the earth
...tell the gospel to all creation

As I spoke I saw how the translators are in place and working to the other side of the landmass I was standing on. There seemed to be time to allow this big thing to think about its response, and while I was waiting I watched Roscoff waking up slowly.

Finally I asked the landmass again: Are you ready for me to walk over you and claim you for this Highway? I perceived that the Earth confirmed that the word of God is true, That Eurasia knows it too. I sensed so many layers of idolatry of the earth on this continent that it is hard to get an answer from Europe or Asia. So I spoke to the place called Europe and asked forgiveness for the fact that we tied it to the woman called Europa in the Greek mythology. By the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth who came in the flesh I severed the tie between the land and this name and renamed it: Beautiful-land-that-God-has-made-in-the-North. Immediately I felt the Earth respond with great and joyful expectation. It felt like a beautiful chord played by a full symphony orchestra.

Now I approached France again. This time I saw her happy, saying yes. I saw many people, both rich and poor, with different banners and felt they represent current and past principalities in France. They are all bringing their votes of confirmation. France is in...

After experiencing the miracle of being able to speak something like French to the girl at the ticket counter and getting myself sorted to Amsterdam via Paris and Brussels the long day journey started. Throughout the French countryside the harvest is in process, and I was aware of the harvest that is ripe in the Spirit too. Above these fields dreamy clouds were drifting n a perfectly blue sky. I found myself looking at them allot. The one who is sent to harvest the earth in Revelations sits on a cloud. Every time I read that chapter in Revelations about the harvesting of the earth I wonder what the vine of the earth is and what it means that the harvested grapes are thrown into the winepress of God’s wrath? I starting to think it must be the last day martyrs, because the vine is the church isn’t it?

Paris
I arrived at Paris Monparnasse and had to make my way to Paris Nord through the underground. It was the easiest passage I ever had through Paris. None of the usual spiritual heaviness was pressing. The words ‘peace bubble’ came to my mind. In the tunnels of the underground I felt that this is how I’m supposed to travel, underground in the earth.

Throughout the Islands I had worn my T-shirt with the words on the front: ‘this is the generation of those who seek your face o God of Jacob’. I never thought about it or felt self-conscious about it until I came to Plymouth where I felt every-one read it and hated me for it. In Paris I also felt that something was trying to intimidate me not to take of my jacket to make the words visible. When I did take it off I felt a lot of attention on me, like a light was switched on suddenly and everyone could see me.

But throughout I was very aware of allot of protection. It was not that I was in a safe environment, but there was something like a firewall around me protecting me from the attacks of the enemy. I realised that the prayers of the people at home built this wall and that its strength lay in the fact that many of the people praying for me also have a history of praying for France. There was authority in the prayer.

I had about an hour and a half to wait in Paris Nord for my connection to Brussels. I found a quiet place at the far end of one of the platforms and read Revelations to France after taking some of the communion wine and bread that the Welsh believers had given me. In the bubble I felt that somehow all the interferences were cancelled out, and that the earth in France was able to hear the message in the book loud and clear. At one point I felt my mind wondering. I asked the Lord to help me and I came to the 5th seal where the souls of the martyrs under the altar in heaven ask God when He will judge those who killed them. I was aware of the cloud of witnesses and I saw the martyrs who died in France all dressed in white, looking at me. They were pleased with the message going out in Paris. I again started having a hard time after the 7th seal but I ploughed on until Rev 19 because I felt I had to read about the fall of Babylon in Paris. I found my train and then continued to read the rest of the book after we departed.

Belgium
On arrival in Brussels I went out of the station to find a stone and do the shofar thing. I couldn’t find a quiet place, but there was so much protection in the spirit that it wasn’t too hard to do it right there on the street corner under a little tree. I personally have a very bad spiritual history in Belgium and only experienced darkness there before, so I was expecting darkness. Imagine my surprise when I got a happy, light and excited response to the Gospel and the question if I can take a stone…

I sensed that Belgium is very broken before the Lord – no more pretence. She is simply desperate for Him. I felt like sharing communion with the earth of Belgium and give it to the little tree I was standing under. There is a wonderful revelation of the power of the blood of Christ in this land.

In the train to the Netherlands I read the first part of Revelations but fell asleep after the letters to the churches. I never finished it for Belgium or the Netherlands. At first I felt some condemnation about this, but I trust the Lord to help my weakness.

The Netherlands
On arrival in Amsterdam I crossed the street outside the station in the deep dusk and stood by a channel where I did the shofar thing. There was more intimidation in the air here but the two young boys who were not far from me on the peer did not even look around at the sound of the shofar. I guess everyone here are used to boats with horns.

Before telling the Gospel to the earth here I repented of the way my own people have been involved in hurting the earth here. When I told the gospel there was no happy response. I waited a bit, then I felt something like a sighing about the border between the land and the sea. And I saw mud in the palm of a hand, like blood. But there was a peace about me taking a stone – if I can find one. I found one between the tracks of the tram as I crossed the road back to the station.

I took a local train to Utrecht and there I was met by Shannon and to my great delight Wenzel too. They had stayed with me on Goodland the weekend before I went to Greenland and now I saw them here. Shannon’s parents are pastors of a local church in the Utrecht area and I asked her if I could meet them not knowing at first that she would be home yet, and not imagining that Wenzel would be there too!

At their home I shared my story and we had a wonderful time of prayer. We only went to bed long past midnight. I was very blessed.

Please Pray: Europe Mainland

If I had a limited idea if where I would find believers in the UK & Ireland I know even less of the mainland on Europe. I will sleep with believers tomorrow in Holland, and the day after in Berlin. But I have no other connections yet. My faith and boldness has grown so in the last 20 days that I have now doubt that God can and wants to make every good and perfect connection. But I still need you to pray for His perfect will in every country! Thank you once again!

13/8 Day 23: Cornwall – England

(Written at an internet café in Plymouth, England)

I had a comparatively early breakfast at 7am and headed for Land’s End in gale force winds and gusts of rain. When I got there it stopped raining for a bit and I could get out to take a bit of a walk along the cliffs. I found a place that was a bit sheltered from the wind and sat there to wait for the Lord. I was tired and sore somehow, and it felt as if I could feel the patient endurance with which Cornwall has persevered touching me out of the rocks around me. I hugged a big round rock and cried my heart out, like on a friend’s shoulder.

I felt the Spirit warning me to go back to the car and I was not there for long before it started raining again. I sat there in the car and read the whole book of Revelations. It came easy enough. What stood out was the patient endurance. With that in mind it was slightly easier to accept that one of my “PEACE” socks that I had washed in the morning and had in the back window somehow disappeared when I opened the boot at Land’s End. The wind took my peace-sock, but not my Peace…

From there I went to David and Vivian who live in the way to Lizard point. They are prayer leaders in Cornwall and the Lord has been using them to build a prayer network with more than 150 prayer groups all over Cornwall. Vivian is Cornish and David is English. We had two beautiful hours of sharing about what we are doing, what we have seen the Lord doing, about Cornwall, England, the end of the Earth and pleasing Jesus.

They blessed me to take stones from Cornwall and from England, and to pray for the revelation of the Sons of God in their nations.

I had to hand in the car in Plymouth at 1pm. It was about 2.5 hours drive from them to Plymouth and I only left after 12:00. In my rush I forgot to take my diary where I had ask David to write their address for me. It was raining on the way and suddenly a car before me stopped to turn right. I very very nearly made a very bad accident! Thanks for your prayers for protection.

In Plymouth I struggled about 40 minutes to find the train station where the Europcar office is. On the way as I asked for directions I was told twice to use the burned-out church as a landmark. I started wondering if I was struggling so in order that the Lord could show me the burnt-out condition of the church here – the landmark looks like a 15th century church ruins.

So I was LATE returning the car! But the Lord took care of it and they did not charge me extra. I took my time to evacuate the car which had been my little safety bubble this past week. I felt as if I was leaving a friend.

From the unhelpful station I wondered the spiritual wilderness of Plymouth looking for an internet café. Between the girl with ‘free sex’ written on her breast, all the vile tattoos and piercings, the cat fight on the street corner and the drugs in people’s eyes all the beautiful shops full of trendy people looked vulgarly materialistic. The little man from Salvation Army standing quietly with pamphlets to hand out was almost shining like a light in the middle of this. I had to go up to him and encourage him a bit and he encouraged me saying Jesus is Lord and every knee shall bow.

A long search brought me to this café where I have now written 3 hours. Now I’ll go to the harbor to catch the ferry to France

12/8 Day 22: Wales - England - Cornwall

(Written at an internet café in Plymouth, England)

The ferry arrived at Fishguard, Wales, in what the captain was warning to be gale force winds and pouring rain. In situations like that I have been constantly thankful for the beautiful little car the Lord provided to get me around these islands.

The man at the Avon B&B was booked at kindly waited up for me and after brief introductions I was in my safe and comfortable room with the wind still battering the windows. I just got straight in bed and lay there enjoying the spiritual atmosphere over Wales. It was almost like when I arrived in the Faeroes from Iceland. There was an almost tangible peace around me, and I suddenly knew what I had been suffering in Ireland these past few days. Beautiful green Ireland now felt like a wasteland against what I perceived to be the oasis of God’s wells in Wales.

It also seemed as if all my prayers during that last day’s drive in Ireland to ask the Lord to help me to trust Him and to enjoy the blessings He gives me where suddenly answered. The pillow under my head and the clean safe smell in the room gave me intense pleasure! I was bursting with thankfulness.

At breakfast I discovered that my B&B hosts were believers, and before I left I asked them is I could share my story. They were happy to bless me with a stone from Fishguard and they prayed for me and sent me off.

I did not have time the night before to do the Shofar thing, so even though I was likely to be late for my 10am appointment with Elaine, I went back to the Fishguard harbor to do it. When I told the gospel to Wales it was as if I could feel all the trees and the fields growing greener with joy, and dancing happily in the wind. It was obvious in everything that Wales was happy with the Gospel and with me taking a stone. Instead of the usual tears I was laughing when I left there.

From Fishguard I went to St. David’s where Elaine was waiting for me at the cathedral with a friend. They are about my mother’s age and when we met they felt like family. Elaine drove us to the “edge” close to St David’s. On the car I explained my story with the added bit that I don’t normally share about the kissing at the edges – this was the first time someone was with me at an edge. We walked a little way past a well that was used by nuns at a convent there and then we glorified the Lord there overlooking the cliffs. I read Ps 47 again and Elaine prayed in Welsh. It was the first time I heard this language of my maternal ancestors and I was deeply moved.

It started raining and we found shelter in the little chapel by the convent. There Elaine’s friend gave me 3 pieces of Welsh coal that had been mined at the time of the last revival in 1904 – the time when the miners came to the Lord and the mine donkeys didn’t know how to work without being sworn at. She said one was a symbol of the burning coal that cleanses my mouth and the other two were for my ears. The same deeply humbling honor for what God was doing through me came again with Elaine giving me scripture to say that my ministry was the ministry of Jesus. I was so blessed.

We greeted Elaine’s friend in St David’s and I followed Elaine back to her house in the country side after we had some coffee and Welsh cake on the way. At Elaine’s house her other friend Darrel was waiting for us with her Husband. Darrel is a feast-preaching tongue-speaking Baptist pastor who went to bible school in South Africa for 4 years. It was funny to hear some Afrikaans words with a strong Welsh accent.

We prayed and shared in Elaine’s prayer room. Here I started grasping the spiritual caliber of what I thought was a sweet little lady when I met her in the morning. And the depths of the valleys Darrel has walked through with the Lord has given him the kind of authority we only see in people who know that life is Christ and death is gain. They recognized me too and we could discuss things about the end-time significance of these highways that I do not usually feel free to share.

They felt they had to wash me and patch me up in places where I had been hurt along the way. This was very welcome. I also repented of anything my ancestors might have done to help re-enforce the curses over the land. And when they prayed I saw the Irish crows again and saw how the Lord completely detached me from Ireland and anything that might have tried to get a hold of me there.

It was hard to leave them, and when I did I had to rush. It was a long way to Cornwall and it was already almost 4pm. I asked Elaine to read Revelations to Wales since I would not have time. (She told me today over the phone that she is already half-way)

I crossed into England first at Bristol and stopped beside the highway there to do the Shofar thing. England looked terrible in the spirit. I don’t even want to describe it. All I know is that this island is past fed-up with the un-righteousness in her. She looks ready to vomit the people out. I also saw a strong connection with Mystery Babylon here. The soil accepted the gospel and I took a stone.

A few hours later I crossed the border to Cornwall. I stopped again to do the Shofar thing next to the highway. The border is a beautiful river through green hills. I told the whole story and waited for an answer. There was none. I waited and then I started wondering if I had done something wrong. I asked the Lord, and He told me to wait and listen. When I did I started hearing something that was like a deep groan of extreme anguish! Like England, Cornwall is fed-up with the lack of Godliness in her. She was groaning as a woman in labor. Almost impatiently she told me to get on with it and take the stones, she can barely take it any longer…

I drove till 10pm and stopped at the first B&B I could find – much harder in here than in Ireland to find. A friendly lady with a broad Manchester accent opened and said she still had a single room. I got in bed praising the Lord.
