(Blogging briefly in the public library at Nome)
We arrived safely at Nome after 3 flights amounting to a 18 hour journey from New Jersey yesterday. The weather was bleak, windy and very cold. Dana of the Bering Sea B&B picked us up from the airport.
At their house we had a wonderful time of sharing and they told us of the returning life at the local Lutheran congregation. They were amazed to hear about our mission and glad that they were the ones that got to open the door for us in Nome. They blessed us to take a stone from Nome.
We rested well and had our last proper shower before Anchorage - they tell us there is no running water in Wales... We did some gift shopping which Cecilia mailed home allong with her durty clothes and some of excess luggage she had. Rene parted with her hair dryer.
Prayer requests:
*Health (Rene has a cold with a very sore throat)
*Wisdom and discernment
*Protection for our families at home.
*Effective use of time.
*Unity.
*Peace to hear God's voice clearly in regards to Nome, Wales and Anchorage - Alaska.

Western Highway 2009
There is a Highway
In 2001 God called me to pray for the Highway of Holiness in Africa according to Isa 35:8 (And a highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called the Way of Holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it). I saw in the Spirit that there is a Highway between the southern tip of Africa and Jerusalem, and that God is calling His children to walk on this Highway. (Jhn 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.)
The Creation and the Great Commission
According to Rom 8:19 “The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.” Jesus did not only die for mankind, but for the world. (Jhn 3:16-17 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.) He also sent us to “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.” (Mar 16:15).
The Southern Highway (2005)
In July 2005 my sister Eugenie and I made the 12 000 km journey from Cape Agulhas to Jerusalem overland by public transport in one month. The purpose of the journey was to act as intercessors for the continent of Africa. As children and heirs of Abraham in Christ (Rom 4) we claimed the ground for the Kingdom of God wherever we set our feet along this journey through Africa (Gen 13:17). In Luke 19:39 Jesus told the Pharisees who tried to stop the people from worshipping him as he rode into Jerusalem: "I tell you that if these should keep silent, the stones would immediately cry out." To symbolise the call of creation for the sons of God to be revealed in Africa, we collected a stone from each place we set our feet. We presented these stones to the Lord in a prophetic action on Mount Zion on arrival in Jerusalem to say that the stones in Africa are crying out because the people are not worshipping God.
Six other Highways
In September 2006, when I was at the Feast of Tabernacles in Jerusalem, the Lord spoke to me about six other Highways that He is working on from all the ends of the Earth. Jesus is the salvation for the ends of the Earth as God said in Isa 49:6 “I will also give You as a light to the Gentiles, that You should be My salvation to the ends of the earth.” Now God is calling the ends of the Earth to bring the message to Zion that her salvation is coming (Isa 62:11 Indeed the LORD has proclaimed to the end of the world: "Say to the daughter of Zion, 'Surely your salvation is coming; behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before Him.)
The Northern Highway (2008)
In March 2008 my sister and I did the first part of the Northern Highway from Cape Nordkinn, the northernmost point of the European continent to Istanbul. We left the stones we collected with a friend in Istanbul for collection when we do the second part. In July 2008 I started the journey from the northernmost municipality in Greenland to Jerusalem travelling though 23 countries in 40 days. We presented the stones from the North to the Lord on Mount Zion 6 September 2008.
The Western Highway (2009)
The Western Highway prayer journey will travel along the Highways from the western ends of the Earth to Jerusalem:
•founding altars at the furthest “ends of the earth” from Jerusalem with stones from Mnt Zion symbolising that “Jerusalem that is above” (Gal 4:26) is “the joy of the whole earth” (Ps 48);
•claiming the highways of the west for the Kingdom of God (Rom 4);
•interceding on behalf of creation for the revelation of the sons of God in every nation along the way (Rom 8); and
•bringing the message to Zion that her salvation is coming (Isa 62:11).
Strategy
The strategy involves the following:
•fly to the “ends of the Earth” to be at the westernmost tip of Alaska on 17 July 2009;
•found an altar there with stones from Mnt Zion;
•travel over land from Alaska along the West Coast of North, Central and South America to Cape Horn in 50 days claiming every place we set our feet for the Kingdom of God;
•collect stones along the way to present to the Lord in a prophetic action on Mnt Zion;
•found another altar at Cape Horn with stones from Mnt Zion;
•fly to Spain and travel over land from the westernmost tip of the Iberian Peninsula, via Gibraltar and the North Coast of Africa, to Jerusalem; and
•meet believers along the way who can testify of Isa 49:6 and confirm Isa 62:11, pray with us and send us along our way.

But you must keep your eyes fixed on Me or discouragement will overcome you. You need to be strong also for those who are around you. You will be able to do this. Listen and obey what I am saying to you.
