Day 2 Anchorage, Alaska (18 July)

(writing at the laundry in Anchorage at 8:30pm on 18 July)

Sue made us a delicious English breakfast in the camper in the parkinglot and we had a great time getting to know one-another. We then set out in the camper to discouver what the Lord had for us on this beautifull day in Anchorage.

First we drove out to a town called Wasilla where we met Regina, a friend of Sue's who live in Wasilla in summer. We discussed the nature of our journey with her, and she agreed to give us a stone. Toghether we walked to the Wasilla lake where she found a stone to go to Jerusalem with us. After returning to the camper we had a special time of ministry to Regina where we could bless her and pray for her as a representative of the body of Christ in Wasilla.

The afternoon had its own supprises! Near a town called Palmer, in a country-side home overlooking a breathtaking vista of snowcapped mountains, the Lord brought together a group of women who hardly knew each other, but were truly united in Spirit. We had an undescribable time of sharing, worship, prayer and fellowship. They blessed us with gifts and sent us with stones from there and from Summit Lake.

Afterwards we returned to Anchorage through breathtaking landscapes! Alaska is a most beautiful place! And here we are, using Sue's laptop, in the laundrette of a campsite where they have wi-fi - and melting my thermal underwear in the tumble drier.

Tomorrow 6am we depart by bus for Whitehorse, Canada, where we should arrive at midnight tomorrow night. Please pray for:
- provision for our needs (the Lord knows them before we do)
- complete healing for Rene (she is much better but not quite there yet)
- seed for the sowers (that the Lord would provide for us to be a blessing to the people we meet)
- open doors in Canada (Godly appointments in place and open to receive us)
- protection for us, our families, friends and staff, our animals, our things and our sources of income)
- blessing and protection for the people who blessed and received us allong the way.
- communication (that we would understand one-another clearly and be understood by the people we meet)
