After the late night I overslept a little in the wonderful peace of their house. We enjoyed a beautiful breakfast together after which Shannon’s father took her, Wenzel and me to the Utrecht station. There we rushed around a bit looking for my train. When we found the platform we had a last prayer together and quickly took communion before I we greeted.
I had to climb over twice in Holland before I was on the train that would take me to Berlin. On this train the timetable had an advertisement on that started-off looking like a poem about time, but turned out to be a warning that the end of time is at hand and every one has to make right with God through the blood of Jesus. There was a contact nr where you can call to get a New Testament sent to you. The ad also said they are not asking for money, they are not a sect and you don’t have to worry they will not call or visit you. They will just send you the New Testament. I felt this warning on the timetable about time being short was very significant.
The train stopped for about 10 minutes for a locomotive change at Bad Bentheim, the first town after we crossed the German border. The conductor told us all that this would be a good time to get out and smoke. So I got out and did the shofar thing for Germany at the far end of the platform. I did feel some intimidation in the spirit but I could blow very clearly. I immediately read the Is 42 bit about the voice in the desert also. And I told Germany that the time is short as intro to the Gospel.
I looked around and saw great things moving around me in the spirit, but they were not aware of me. I was completely invisible to the spirit realm.
I felt the earth in Germany responding that it is the same as the rest of the places on the continent. And yes, the word of God is true, also the earth here is waiting in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed.
The rest of the journey to Berlin was uneventful and I allowed myself some naps. This may have been a mistake because I woke up feeling more fragile in the spirit than before.
On arrival in Berlin I heard that the friends I would stay with in the evening were still on their way from another town and their friend Gitty who was at their home would direct me to their house. With her help over the phone I had to find my way through three changeovers to where my friends live in the South East of Berlin. The last little section I had to walk in the drizzling rain, and I found Gitty waiting for me at the gate.
We shared for hours over coffee until Wolfgang and Oriana arrived. Over dinner I told them the story too. They were very open and helpful and agreed to not only give me a stone, but also help me with connections in Poland and Austria.
We went to bed late but happy.
